What pamco should i get?

Ok my xs is still not working, the cdi box I got wont fit on my bike. So im goin to save and get a pamco off mikes xs. Im on a budget so which one can I get to solve my issue and last a while? thanks guys

Since you have an electronic ignition model, you don't have the advance rod or advance unit. You'll need a Pamco kit that includes the advance rod, it's bushings, and the advance unit or the E-advancer. This is the cheapest one and comes with the mechanical advance .....

Herndon, If you bought a CDI box to put on your XS650 then there is no way to make it work. The XS650 never used a CDI, it uses a TCI.
What 5twins says about the Pamco are correct.

You need to identify the CDI, ( Should be a TCI), Ignition unit box you bought. Some sellers do advertise the TCI as a CDI so it is not necessarily the wrong one. Common misconception.

The earlier TCI's have 6 wires and the later ones 7 wires. The extra wire was for the side-stand safety. and can be ignored/disconnected and used on the earlier bikes.

I ment tci. The one that was on bike was off some other bike not a 650 and the one Igot is off 81 xs650.
