XS 850 issues, so I'm buying a new engine. please help with info

Hello just trying to confirm a few things.

I have XS 850. would a midnight special 850 engine fit exactly in? and be able to perfectly mate to the driveshaft etc. like parts from other engine fit too?

I will need to use my starter and electronics on the midnight 850 engine if i buy it.

another engine is available for more money.

Would a 1100 engine fit in my xs850 frame?

No. Not even close.

All XS850 engines should be the same. They were only made 1980-81.
