Man, does that ever take me back.

I worked on T-33's in Alaska from 1984-1990'ish. Got to fly back seat in them a couple of times to go work on alert site F-15's out at King Salmon and Galena air stations.

Worked many a "Phase Maintenance" T-Bird with that engine hanging out with the empennage removed....

I was looking at some of the 74 tanks and one maybe all of the NOS tanks say they are made in India and metal of construction is aluminum and with the decals that look great

You gotta love the idea of this group ride. They all have 50+ year old scramblers, one looks like a Triumph 500 or maybe a 650? And the other guy has what I believe is a Yamaha YR2C 350? Looks like fun to go do some cow trailing on!

Well, I went with a max of $600 (shipping would have been another $100 too+ tax)...I got out bid and bowed out.

I'll just live with my sun faded, original tank...
