Just last weekend I was bundled up shoveling snow.
Like here. We had to trade the coat for a boat! It warmed right up and the ground is saturated. It’s time for a storm to come and blow down some trees.

no frost, it's soaking in. Very good for us, cuz drought.
If the rain washes the salt off the roads and we get a bit of sun....... Hope springs eternal. Think I'll get busted for riding a vintage plate in January?

No snow on the ground and it’s a balmy +4C. I’ll take it. The ground is however frozen and any precipitation won’t soak in causing a good opportunity for local flooding (if it rains).
If you were here in Mississippi you’d have no concerns about that. Economically disadvantaged folks use those tags to save a bunch of money here.Think I'll get busted for riding a vintage plate in January?
We've had close to 40° and rain for the better part of 3 days now. Snow is almost gone... this round anyway.
I may throw a leg over a motorcycle a bit later. It’s dry and over 50f.

This one is called Storm Ingunn, apparently given that moniker by the Norwegian met office. Google doesn't like it - Do you mean in gun?
Further north, 100mph winds yet again. Across Scotland, all trains cancelled yet again.

It’s been above freezing since Tues when we had 6” of snow dumped on us. I made sure I cleaned it off the drive before it got too heavy and this morning it’s almost gone. Still too much salt on the roads for me to attempt anything. I turn on the small heater in the garage while coffee is brewing and it’s usually warm enough to be comfortable after a couple of hours. That’s IF the wife doesn’t decide she needs to open the door for something…..
