Well, it wasn't as easy as you might think. I put it on it's center stand, sat back and took a good long look at the beast, to make sure whatever modification I decided on wouldn't ruin the overall look. After much conteplation I rummaged thru my tool box to find just the right hole making device. To my dismay I couldn't find the proper piece. Oh I have such tools: awls, punches, drill bits. But none would deliver the right look- one in keeping with the build. About the time I started thinking 'bout going the tape (shudder) route my lovely wife offered her help. "Honey", she purred, "why not use a hole punch? I have one right here. Will this work?" Holy shit! Once again I was too close to the project to see the answer! Once again my wife, who is not particularly mechanically inclined, was far away enough to think more clearly than I. Carefully I positioned the calendar in the punch's jaws, hesitated for a second, then with one swift movement "CRUNCH"! The deed was done. "Perfect!" I rejoiced! Now to mount my masterpiece where all can enjoy.
Unfortunately the nail head completely blocks my handiwork but hey, the fun's in the build right?
