hello all. Ive been gone for a while, but i put about 2000 miles on one of my xs650s this summer, anyways I was shopping for a regulator for a italian bike and I found this little bit of info out there , ive seen it written about before but I thought a refreshed conversation about this might be in order, If not Im sure a moderator can shuffle this into a apropriate thread, I hope you have all been riding as much as possible this summer
Something that can have interest
I have not hooked it up ..But Rating is 14 V and 55 A Not sure it will work yet -- but I believe so
With a Voltmeter on the Bike to be sure it is not doing something strange.
It is small 53 mm x 28 mm x 18 mm the block part
Magneti Marelli is perhaps not the best brand. But a known Brand. This can also be pirated.
But for $ 8 One can have it for Fault finding if one suspects the Stock regulator not working.
Some alligator leads and hook it in see if it changes anything.
AGAIN --- I have not tried it Winter here.. and I have a similar thing working installed
