Armor in an old jacket

got a nice ballistic nylon jacket with the Buell.
One of the shoulder pads was crumbling.
The pads are in pockets in the mesh lining with velcro entry slots.
Turns out all the old pads were cracking apart.

Amazon had these.

I'm not so sure they are exactly what they claim, but are of better design, stronger than the original pads were new.
Had to fold the new and old pads to work them through the (narrow) slots but the new ones fit well once in place.

still need to get and put in a back pad.
But now I'm STYLE'n.

Had to fold them a bit to get through the slots but they fit well and a prolly better than the other pads were new.
