Com'on he has to diagnose problems way before trying to build an ignition system............hell, hasn't done a compression test yet after a stuck motor.........lol..........
Been sitting out side with any cover, what are the carbs like???........condition of the rotor????.....Wiring???.......Can the OP do the work himself, Gonzo????........what are his capabilities???
Non of the above has been assassinated or information offered.........i did ask some questions that weren't answered..................yea lets build an ignition that will solve all the problems....lol
Yes Sir Mr Skull .. Of Course you are right . advice has been given from Experienced people .. World Class
But Not everyone is prepared to listen
Some want to try it their own way
Some are rich and do things as a Hobby .don't care if the bike runs or not.
Even though it makes sense and is right from Motorcycling and Experience based viewpoint There are other aspects
Self Esteem .. Macho ... Bravado Doing My thang The way I want..
I do know a couple of things ..calling Myself expert ..( not Motorcycles )
But it happens that I gets lectured ..by people who don't know the first thing
And When i tell them they are wrong Aggression and self Protection can follow.
Sometimes people that go about it the wrong way gets it right by Luck or Fortune
And we all made mistakes in the Beginning -- Believing I got this.
I suppose you also seen those buying a Cheap bike and never got it running.
Failing to realize that in this case a +40 years old motorcycle fresh out of the manure stack can give challenges
At times to big for a beginner.
I don't know what the English word for it is Money ill spent to learn it the hard way
Say he buys a Gonzo a $ 60 That is not the end of the world .And getting support from those
People putting in Work
You and I know that there is virtually not a snowballs chance in Hell that the bike will run .Then either
( But not 100 % certain )
But after that he will be seeking advice and listen.
Lesson learned some money lost .. But if we relax ..Things will sort out.
He will come back ..if he has the personality for it and wants the bike to run
I for one will try to help then if I have time
