I got these old wheels in trade for some work I performed on a friend's guitar. They are from a Yamaha, as there is a very small tuning fork stamp on the inside of the drum. And all the hardware matches all that is on my xs650. So I can tell that they are probably form an older xs650. Other than that I don't know anything about them. I'd like to find someone that can help me identify them more properly, and then I'll sell them to a good home.

Any help...?

The sizes marked on the Tires are:

Front- 110/90-19

Rear- 130/90-16

Thanks for the help.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Do you know if they will fit anything else? Sounds like they should be the same size axle and mounting pattern for parts, as an xs650/tx500...etc. Right?

If I get them cleaned up, can someone suggest what kind of value I may have here?

Yes they will swap.
The best looking (imo) set I've seen is using mikes rim and spokes to convert the rear to an 18". They were popular as painted wheels with the bobber crowd. For a spoked wheel the 36 count spokes seem to be more popular. Value? If the parts and pieces are there and in good shape the sum of those may be greater than the wheel whole.

Thanks for the input. The spokes themselves are decent, but rusty. The sprocket is in great shape as is the drum and both hubs with bearings. Should I take them apart and ebay them? Or sell them as a whole on Craigs?

I was thinking Craigs may be easiest, Do you think $100 as is would sell them? Tires are still in good shape....

You can search eBay completed auctions for the past 60 days. Two 64 spoke front wheels like yours, sold on eBay for $99 each in January 2014. A super clean one sold for $120 in December. Same seller sold his super clean 48 spoke rear wheel for $150. Also in December, a 48 spoke rear wheel sold for $120, another for $91. Shipping extra in most cases.

I just bought a pair of these, from a member here, a few weeks ago

About the same condition, paid $150 for the pair, plus headlight bucket and chain guard

You guys are great. Thanks for the help. I think I'll end up putting a quick clean on them and then trying to sell them local to avoid the shipping hassle. If that doesn't work, I'll throw them up on EBAY.

Thanks again.

Yea this site is full of good people willing to help those that do not know and even those that do.

Offering them on Craigslist or eBay after asking what they are worth and getting some helpful answers from here is a bit ???????????????

Maybe to showing some love back, would be to offer the wheels through the classifieds on this site. Maybe a member here would like them.

Don't forget there is more help from here yet

You are totally right. And, I would prefer it if there were someone from this forum that would like them! I'm sorry to not have offered them up more readily.. I think I've been scared away from posting sale items on forums, from a past forum that was not too accepting of trading...

I'd be welcoming of anyone that is interested in them to contact me here. And, I think I'll go over and look into the classifieds here. I've never browsed them.

Here are a few more pics, if you're interested.

The front is 19" and the rear is 16"
