Sounds good to me Alphabet.
I get it. Enquiring minds want to know. But telling a man that he doesn't know how to ride his motorcycle sounds pretty denigrating to me. I know your quick brain can figure out numerous reasons someone may choose not to ride. Some of them could be quite personal. Is prying into somebody's personal space your forte'? It appears his forte' is building things. In this case a beautiful bike. I for one appreciate his sharing of his vision and how he went about achieving it.

My friends know better.
And those that don't are not my friends. The correct thing to do is man up and make the appropriate apologies but that is about as likely as seeing a build thread from you.
Most of us here including myself can do better. You can definitely do better. My apologies for my part in drifting this thread away from the topic. Carry on.

I think he's used to being called a dick. Appears to be his badge of honor. I'm thinking he took offense to me calling him Alphabet.
Been on this form comin' up on 5yrs now. He's been the head troll at least since then. He jus' can't help himself...

So, looking at the video I was embraced with the first time I ever saw a bike with wheels on and no rubber. I saying to myself, 'So cool', and thinking skeleton wheels. Just an added boner, I mean bonus.

He will, to make sure it's reliable.
From there, maybe off it, admire it or grab some license/insurance to "ride it" when needing some experience.

Sure. But why not ride it?
Ok, I'll play your infantile game:

I have psoriatic arthritis. PsA is a disease which attacks joints, tendons, muscles, organs, resulting in a lot of pain and lack of movement. My fingers have been fused, joints in toes and hips have been replaced, nerves transpositioned. My elbows have deteriorated to a point where they were to be replaced three years ago, however, I decided not to go ahead with the surgery, because I would never be able to work in my shop again.

I have trouble gripping anything, all doorknobs, tap knobs in my house have been replaced with levers. I cannot use screwdrivers, hammers and the like anymore, spanners are very problematic. You'll notice when trying to adjust the screws on the carbs in my last post 'syncing carbs', I continually change hands. I cannot make a fist anymore, my arm muscles have atrophied to the point where I cannot support my weight anymore, cannot support a bike anymore without falling off.

Truth be told, I've never been enthralled with riding, except for MotoX, which I did in my youth. I did ride many bikes back in the day, loads of Brit Twins, Japanese fours, trail bikes and of course MotoX, and drag bikes. However, my real interest lies in building things, particularly motorbikes.

Does that meet with your approval. I'll give you time to digest this, although, I doubt very much if you will be able to understand. Then I would like to block you, so you can't read my posts anymore. That is not an option on this forum, so instead, I will place you on my ignore list. This means, that you can still read my posts and make comment. However, I will not be able to read them. But, this works for me because then I'll know you are talking, or more correctly - writing, to yourself, which I'm sure you do all the time. Normally one would have an inclination to un- ignore a member on a list every now and again just to see what that are saying, however, I'm pretty sure that won't happen here, your history tells me you have nothing to say which is even remotely intelligent.

Gaskets acting as lock washers - give me a break!

These are my tools, and my last build.

Togl.
Your physical condition has been plain to those of us that actually follow your build.
That you are able to accomplish such quality fabrications and build quality is just that much more amazing when one considers your physical limitations. There are few others here that can equal your prowess, limitations be dayumed.
I know that just being able to look at your build, sit on it and make those appropriate sounds will bring you some joy. It may not be a ridden bike but that does not mean it won't be an enjoyed bike. Just looking at the beauty of something well done can bring joy. Whether it is a painting,
a sculpture, a car, or a motorcycle. Especially when you are the one that built it.
I'm just glad that you had this one last machine to share with the community. Thanks.
Rick
