Repair hole in leather

Unfortunately I need to make a repair of a minor hole in a leather seat, is there any mold or padding that can be used for such? If anyone knows exactly how to do this, I would appreciate getting some feedback.

Hole came after a drill slipped, and went the wrong way... dooh.

If its fairly small, like a slit from a drill bit or something, you can use black shoe-goo or similar type products. I successfully repaired a seat using that method. It sets pretty strong but stays flexible and will stop it getting any worse.
