A wise friend of mine has come up with a number of doozys over the years that are good rules to live by. Rule # 1: "Nothing was ever made that couldn't be modified". Wise words indeed.
Thanks 2M, I'll give that method a go on this one. Funny how this is too often a problem on these. Had the same issue on my 77 and 78. Didn't know of this idea so I rigged up a bunch of wood blocks and C clamps and forced them back into shape.
