The engine covers look nickel plated from my chair. It looks like full on Motogadget too!I wonder how much it cost's to get a frame nickel plated?
Hmmm....
I wouldn't have it either, but I love some of the concepts and the execution. It has no mirrors and appears to have bar end flashers. Gotta have mirrors to ride the thing. I couldn't have it as a garage ornament.
What does anyone think of the asking price of $7,500?XS650 by someone who knows nothing about it, and less about YAMAHA.
If they want $7500, that guy shouldn't have made the video. He doesn't know anything about it and he damaged the cover. Don't get me wrong, I love the XS-2, but $7500 buys a brand new RE Interceptor (if you can find one.)What does anyone think of the asking price of $7,500?
Bumpus Harley-Davidson in Memphis has taken on Royal Enfield. According to their website, they have no 650 twins. The dealership near me is still getting new ones in, not a lot, but steady. Prices are holding surprisingly steady at $6000.

After careful thought, I ask myself, why would I want one? What can it do that my XS650 doesn't do. I'm capable of maintaining the old bike. I like maintaining the old bike. So, other than being new, what does it offer?
I agree. The RE would hit a lot of those marks if I had no actual vintage motorcycle. I made a post in an attempt to drag this over to the RE thread if this conversation goes on. It's cold outside.Money has nothing to do with it.
