I checked the spokes; they’re all good. The bushings def have a little play in them, maybe a mil, but they’ve been that way the whole time I’ve owned the bike. I think it’s likely the combination of the buckhorns AND the new neck bearings. I hadn’t really ripped around at all right after replacing them, and then I swapped to the short black bars, which had me low and forward on the bike when I was speeding around. Now that I’m back upright with the buckhorns, I think what I’m feeling that I hadn't last summer is the front end being super tight and responsive; it always had some slack in it with the original loose balls.
