I`m not sure it`s even legal here in the US to have motorcycles that clean.
Ok Randy, here you go! Two days of degreasing , cleaning, scrubbing and waxing. Probably hasn’t been this clean since I first put it back on the road.

OMG...clean. Is that the bike formerly known as the grey/whitish bike?
Nice pic. Did you use the Lomo-ish effect to get the blue tones on the chrome parts?
Yup! Same bike with a new tank and painted side covers. The white tank has a small crease in the front from a minor tip over in the garage. It now hangs on the wall above my work bench.

Been fighting a gronched out 6mm case hole for the sump plate. tentatively and gingerly fixed it with a Timesert after the dreaded PO ham fisted a helicoil.
Well, the timesert I put in pulled out too. Damn. Bigsert to the rescue. Hoping this works but cautiously confident. Threads cut perfectly and insert locked in as advertised. Letting the loktite setup overnight before putting torque on it. Hoping to never think about those bloody little holes again.
Dark and scary threadless hole:

Ahhh, all better.

My hero’s! All 6 holes now have solid steel thread inserts. Not today satan. Not today.

Nice repair work! That is such a sore spot on these bikes.
Yeah, that's why Mr. Hamfist does 'em up with a 1/4" sq drive ratchet handle that's only 3" long.
I told her to stop calling it that, hurts my feelings...I use my tiny little torque wrench.
