What's everyone's thoughts on powdercoating the mag wheels?

if your shop knows what they are doing they should mask and plug off everything just fine, IF they know.....

There are special powder coat tapes and silicone plugs to deal with the temps

Would it be prudent to add the bolts to any screw holes and remove the bearings and plug the axle hole?

Yea, typically you plug all threaded holes with either spare bolts or silicone plugs. I find the bolts much easier as they plug perfectly and never fall out in the oven.

Definitely need to remove the bearings/seals and mask off those surfaces on the wheel.

Well ... I just picked them up. They came out great. The guy covered all the holes etc. The bolt holes for rotor/sprocket etc. had these super thick stickers made from a fibrous material. I'm not sure what he covered the center with, it was off by the time I got there.
