If I had to sum it up, I would say….constantly changing. It’s been weird lately, lots of wind, unexpected rains, new weather fronts passing through. One day it’s 65 degrees the next it’s 85, then back down in the 60’s. Weird 
Right now it’s 55 degrees and sunny, on its way to being 70 degrees for the day. I’ll take it!
By the way look what my cactus surprised me with, two giant flowers, they are 7 inches across!

55 degrees and cloudy, rain expected later this week. Today’s cactus flower, these won’t last long I’m afraid. I had to chase FOUR rabbits away from it this morning. They are eating the buds before they can open! 
Bob, I use this...works fairly well.
I’ve tried that, I’ve tried coyote urine that I bought online from a trapper supply, I’ve tried home made hot red pepper spray. Nothing works but this,
We have had a rabbit population explosion around here, not enough predators and mild winters, combine that with desert landscape and there’s not a lot of edible greens that are not somebody’s landscape. Everyone has taken to putting up cages until the plant can get established.

Todays cactus flower, the bud was too high up for the rabbits to reach. They have devoured all my cactus flower buds that are lower than 15”.

Bright sun, dead calm, stuck at welding table... On the bright side, the mutt got outta dog jail, she expressed her indignation and got arrested. Nice lady animal cop, Mutt did her 10 days at home in supervised quarantine. Pretty soon mow grass...

More TIG to-day... maybe ride the 20 mile loop, mostly cop free... if yer local they let ya go, mostly, and once the deputy waved as I blasted by sans beanie... August heat, 3 beers, whattheel... Noone of my more cautious cohort of pals ever saw 70... poor devils...

One of my friends, riding 140 mph southbound meets northbound cop on a divided highway. It’s very early morning and daylight. The bike is an FZ1. My friend decided not to run. He pulled over, sat on the guardrail and removed his helmet exposing his snow white hair and beard. The police officer waved as he slowly drove by.Watch? Like a parade?

Local high school was cancelled for today after hearing the weather report yesterday. After the last go-round and the beating the county seat took from baseball sized hail it's no wonder......once bitten twice shy.
