Man, you never find deals like that here in the Northwest.

There was a beautiful one owner 75 XS650 posted here on craigslist a couple weeks ago for $3750 and it was gone the same day...snatched up quickly.

Yeah, Bring trailer fetches some pretty incredible prices on many collectables.

I've often thought about posting my 92 Toyota 4x4 pickup on there because they reach crazy amounts on their site.

Although they were common in their day, they're pretty unusual in today's world. Many a young man cut his teeth on a 70's 2 stroke and 380cc's in a 2 stroke is fairly equivalent to a 600cc 4 stroke. Not today's 600's but 70's mid size.
That means guys that had one in high school or college might look at BAT and think, I should have never got rid of that.

Plus there's a unique pleasure in riding past the EPA office leading a faint blue smoke trail!

Yeah, I get it. I had a Kawasaki 350 S2 when I was 16, but $9k. Maybe I'm just cheap..lol.

Yes, Bring-a-Trailer is very 'legit'. They have strict rules for selling your vehicle. ie: list only 7 days, must talk to a salesperson, $295...etc.
