OK...I might have the opportunity later this summer to purchase an '80 xs650 motor from a friend. Motor only. It has been in dry storage since 1984, has low miles, and was wrapped in shrink wrap before storage. Assuming that its not seized and has good compression would it be worth $400?

So i'm installing my new mikesxs clutch worm gear assembly and noticed that the large rubber ring is tappered on the inside. Anybody know which way this is supposed to go on the assembly...taper toward the inside arm or taper out toward the case cover? Thanks.

Anybody happen to know the draw of the xs's stock headlight? I got a hold of a pair of 55w HID lights and want to add one to the headlight bucket of my xs. Don't want to fry my wiring though. The HID lights have a 55w halogen coupled with a 35 Watt HID bulb.
