Rewound Alternator Rotor gouges, trouble shooting charging system.

Ignition switch red connection in the headlight bucket wasn’t connected properly and the connection was not good. I knew this because several times riding the past month or so the bike with spit and hesitate and actually one time it died while actually on the highway and it would not start. That same day I got home and looked inside the headlight bucket and I noticed the red wire, the one with the burnt insulation, The male was not in the female snuggly. So perhaps with this red wire moving around that’s what fucked up the rotor.

And an unusual problem that could kill two rotors by overheating till solder melted. (a common infinity rotor reading cause)

Well IF the red wire caused rotor to go bad then it was the red wire. I have no idea. The two are correlated…. That is what I just said 10 minutes ago.

You do understand the difficulty people face in trying to help someone with very limited electrical experience part time while we do many other things in life FROM A distance with a perp that tends to disparage or at least endlessly question those "helpers".

What admin? Lol. Already sent the aftermarket rec/regulator back. Refund on the way….and noone said anyone had to have patience! I dont beg for shit. If you dont wanna help, dont. Not the end of the fukin world my man! Ill figure the shit out one day. Lol. Just was trying to save a buck as most people would have dropped the dam bike off at a shop before they would have even ATTEMPTED to do all the shit I did the past two weeks!

This was where this thread was heading from day one with the OP not listening properly and now he thinks the problem is fixed is thumbing his nose to those whose patience was being tested a long time ago,(Jim walked off the tread for 5 min).

Take your bike to an auto electrician and get it done properly now that you realise the people on here are rude and have no patience for someone who doesn't know about electricity.
