Bike rental story. Input requested!

Hello, my friend let another guy borrow/rent his yamagata r6. He borrowed it for about 3 hours and it ran fine. My friend is now trying to tell the other kid that he broke his stator. Any input on this comical story?? Is it possible for somebody to actually break a stator? Lol

He swapped a broken stator for your friends good one. I saw it on ebay just now.

Well, to answer the question can a stator be broken, a stator is the only thing in the world that can't be broken. Anything else can be broken. Except maybe Mike's stators can be broken.

You CAN break a stator, happens all the time, BUT you will see where the case smacked the pavement. That's the usual death of a stator. The Old Honda twin cam fours would loose the stator every time the cover touched. I think I kept a spare when we were racing.

Story is that when Hertz rented GT350H Shelby Mustangs more than one was returned with a clapped out 289 in place of the hi-po Shelby motor.

Ain't that the truth. I had a shirt that said "you can ride my bike if I can ride your bitch" and I guess if I go to hertz I can expect to rent a Prius now
