Jumping right into my next build, I just finished up my project "Fast & Flow" and wanting to build something completely different (and more rider friendly) Don't get me wrong, I love the bobber, I just also love options
So here it is, picked it up a week ago, another '83 Heritage Special. In decent shape and came with two motors, one is a '72 and one is an '80. Also two sets of carbs, one BS38 and one BS34. Motor's are both have torn down top ends, but the bottoms look to be untouched. I already had a basket case '82 motor apart in 1000 pieces so that's the motor I'm going to be using for this bike.
The plan is to put it back together, get an OOP inspection done, do a tracker seat, new bars and some different wheels/tires to start. Then next winter it will probably be a complete tear down and rebuild with paint and all that. Here's a few pics I have of the current progress. I'll be doing a complete rebuild on the motor and carbs first.
