I think your onto something... I had a severe wobble due to maladjusted steering bearings on a new XS750. Happened about 75MPH. Scarred the crap out of me. Also some bikes are more sensitive to a rearward weight shift. But, I'd check the bearings first.I checked the spokes; they’re all good. The bushings def have a little play in them, maybe a mil, but they’ve been that way the whole time I’ve owned the bike. I think it’s likely the combination of the buckhorns AND the new neck bearings. I hadn’t really ripped around at all right after replacing them, and then I swapped to the short black bars, which had me low and forward on the bike when I was speeding around. Now that I’m back upright with the buckhorns, I think what I’m feeling that I hadn't last summer is the front end being super tight and responsive; it always had some slack in it with the original loose balls.
Nope.... ain't touchin' that one....never knew the outside of my palms could get sore haha

Today I got the extra holes in the fork brace welded up and polished it. Mounted the front wheel. Waiting on brake lines & fittings and caliper kits. Mock up frame is looking better.

That looks great! Are you happy with the sound? I have the original OEM version of that and I love it. By the way, is your bike a 750? The barrels look large.
Here's the vidThanks. Yeah I like them. I couldn't deal with the exhaust that was on it before it came from a xs650 special where the guy drilled additional holes at the tailpipe at the bottom of it was starting to rust and form holes. It was too loud. The barrels are stock size. Since the top end was done. I saw the kit with bigger fins for additional cooling. I will have to post a vid to show how they sound.
