Pliers will remove fuel line well enough . Can same pliers replace fuel line back in place?
Hey with the rear wheel in the air is there any side to side play if you grab it and rock back n forth??Noticed new rear brake disc wearing unevenly and removed the calliper to find the pads are worn only on the top 20mm of the pads and the piston retracts when the brake pedal is released.? I managed to grab hold of the piston and boot and pumped the pedal to get the piston and boot to expand out 30mm or so and then pushed it back in and reassembled the calliper on the bike. Seemed to work OK this morning on the ride to work but it needs adjusting, may need rebuild kit.View attachment 199047
Who knew@Mikey I keep a small bag of flour near my polishing wheel to help take off the black residue.
I have to look at what mine is rated atGuys that buff boat gelcoat use a screwdriver tip or needle nose pliers to dress the pad now and again. You need revs more than power. My bench grinder/buffer is 3450 ram and worked great polishing Mustang stainless trim.
No, just put a little on the piece and clean it off with a cloth. It comes right off with the flour.Who knew
I'll have to try that Thanks !
Edit: I know dumb question but you don't put flour on the part and then use the wheel to get the black marks off?
