Today was a good day for me to start taking the XS1 apart. Getting ready to take the engine out soon.
So somewhere in the past an oil cooler was added, and unfortunately they welded bungs to the numbers matching case for fittings. I want to eliminate the cooler fittings, and I'm going to assume that in order for the oil to flow through it, they must have plugged or restricted the port that passes through the case. Has anyone ever seen a cooler installed this way? I've seen them mounted through the cover before.
