i know i need forward controls and some lane splitter bars and its getting a custom paint job when i'm done mod. the bike

Heres mine. Just got it done last month. Built everything myself. Seat, turns, pipes, brackets, modded a tc bros tail to my liking, chain tensioner, battery box, cut the bars down, front brake system, pegs, kickstand, covered the cables, etc....

that suck but that is the coolest turn sig i've seen...may have to steal that if i ever get hassled buy the police...too cool

So I bought a 1975 frame and a 1977 X650 engine. Decided to go with a custom rigid frame. Tried a few tanks and rims and settled with what you see. Still needs some polishing and tuning but she's on the road.

This is how my '80SG project ended up. I've already sold it locally. It was a fun project and a great walk down memory lane. MANY THANKS to the forum members that directly or indirectly guided me along!
