Dude, that thing is clean looking.
I certainly hope you are not going for the British Wiring reliability! I have an MGB with the Morris blues! Here is my start of my 1978. Trying for the British look. I have Brit style mufflers and had the seat re-sculptured. I am working on the wiring with a new fuse box.( will post pictures Friday) Still a long way to go. Thanks TC
Stockers allowed? My 75
That is simply BEAUTIFUL! I love the 75's XS650B's They finally had everything right in 75! I have one just like it (except 60% as clean) just waiting for a good home or me cleaning it up. Most other 650's threw oil in my back from the chains self oiler (er' seal) Mine has 11k and runs like new. I do have to re-torque the heads because of a tiny oil seep at the bottom of the L cyl by the case. I found a dealer take off OEM seat, shortees, new fork seals, swing bar bushings, levers and carb kits. It has been sitting inside a tight building (actually never set outside it's whole life) and was a one owner when I got her. Last time I started it she had a stuck float, It was a 55 mpg runner before I ballooned in weight lol... It is funny I think of the 1976 on up as a different series for some reason?? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING!
WowHere's the finished article after a year of building
