Its worth an engine teardown to see if the motor is totally trashed. My bet is that new rods and bearings and a thorough clean will recover it.

This is just a way over the top build. Love it. What is that headlight? When you made the tubes to go from the rear frame kick up to the center tube did you use 1 1/8" tubing or reduce it to 1"? A million questions about this one.Just finished up!

Thanks! Its an old harley headlight I found at a swap meet. I downsized the tube there to 1" and bent it by handThis is just a way over the top build. Love it. What is that headlight? When you made the tubes to go from the rear frame kick up to the center tube did you use 1 1/8" tubing or reduce it to 1"? A million questions about this one.
P.S. I`ll just go ahead and nominate this one for the 2025 calendar now.

I've heard of, almost mythological, four-leading shoe front brakes. Fitted to racing bikes before the advent of disks. And to exotic Italian road bikes or high-end café racers. Could be?So much to see there! I’m still taking it all in. Tell me about that front brake, I’ve never seen a drum that has actuating levers on both sides of the drum like that.
